Hypnotherapy for Change
I am a qualified Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist with a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Diploma in Hypnotherapy which are recognised and accredited by The National Counselling Society, The National Hypnotherapy Society, and The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (all of which lay down a strict code of ethics about the way I work). These courses have also been accredited by The Royal College of Nursing.
I have also trained with the HypnoBirthing Institute as a HypnoBirthing Practitioner. I am a Registered Hypnotherapist on the General Hypnotherapy Register and I am also registered on the National Regulatory Register of Hypnotherapists and on the Hypnotherapist Register.
I am a CNHC Registered Hypnotherapist (Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council) which also holds a PSA (Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care) Accredited Register, and am also registered with Counselling (Registered Charity Number 1068940), The United Kingdom and Ireland Directory of Counselling and Psychotherapy and The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (Registration No 3793), and have been awarded the Senior Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice.
I am a member of the Scottish Hypnotherapy Foundation.
I work from Dalmally, Argyll and Bute in Scotland and have previously had Practices in Canterbury, Kent and in Harley Street, London. I am able to work with clients either in person or online over Zoom. By offering therapy online as well as face to face, I am able to work with clients from all over the world.
I am fully professionally insured.
Aside from having been in Practice for many years now, my career to date has included spending nearly 20 years in the "Sports, Health and Fitness Industry" where I led a very fulfilling, varied and interesting life running a successful business.
It was within this industry that my passion for people, their behaviour and psychology developed, as I constantly became more aware of the power of the mind, and how peoples thought patterns would manifest themselves in their performance, behaviour and actions. During this time I studied not only psychology but also Neuro Linguistic Programming (N.L.P.) and first became conscious of how very effective, safe, quick and successful hypnotherapy can be for so many, many different issues, problems and even pain control.
"Everything has its origin in the mind, and that which you seek outwardly, you already possess. No one can think a thought in the future. Your thought of a thing constitutes its origin"
